Josh was born on July 17th, 1994. At the age of 15 Josh was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma in his jaw. Josh went through 11 months of chemotherapy with 6 weeks of radiation. Josh dropped out of O’Dea High School his sophomore year to focus on his treatment.
When he returned he played on the varsity baseball team, which was his passion in life. On December 28th, 2011 his cancer returned and metastasized to his lungs. Josh chose quality of life and continued to go to school and play baseball until his last game on May 2nd, 2012. That last game, Josh left it all on the field. During this time Josh visited his favorite place on earth, Hawaii. Josh turned 18 on July 17th, 2012 and went to heaven July 26th, 2012.
